Water Reflection I

This is one of hundreds of water reflections I've photographed over the years. The luscious hues and undulating shapes continue to mesmerize me.

"Set for Dinner"

I completed this painting in one afternoon, thinking at the time it was a beginning composition that I'd come back to later. Over the next month I kept looking at it, and eventually realized I didn't want to touch it. It was done. The image is from my stepfather and mother's cottage at Christmas Cove, where I've enjoyed many good times and delicious meals. Close to the heart, so I'm keeping it!
